It Finally Rained

Rain refused to give up and at JYP’s proposal that they forget the first album, just cheer for Korea in the world cup and start again with a second album, Rain asked if he could have one more chance. So, as a last resolve, he made a round of Korea’s show music programs, and his determination was rewarded. The singer “Rain” was gladly welcomed into the Korean music world.

The next following albums led from success to success, his second album “Escaping from the Sun” creating a deeper presence and cementing his name in the Korean pop market and his third album “It’s Raining” selling over a million copies in Asia and led to his “Rainy Day” tour, some of his concerts selling out in record minutes, and stealing hearts across the whole Asian continent.

In 2006, he released his incredibly awaited and anticipated 4th album, “Rain’s World” with the title song, “I’m Coming”. The 15th of October 2006 marked the start of his “Rain’s Coming World Tour 06/07″ that covered countries all over Asia, America, and also brought along his first visit to the driest inhabited continent on earth, Australia. He is expected to complete his world tour at the end of June and an English album for an official debut into the American market is expected at the end of 2006 or early 2007.

On that phenomenal day of June, 1982, he graced the arms and worlds of his two parents. Today however, due to his unending effort, perseverance, endurance, vision, passion, determination, courage in rising up and embracing challenges, talent, commitment and focus, and his incredible attitude towards creating and fulfilling dreams in life, his story and his life, now, influences and graces the world.
